Description
An instrument bleed valve vents trapped pressure from the cavity between two closed block valves and gives any leakage past a seat a safe place to appear before the line is opened. It supports a double-block-and-bleed arrangement — it does not by itself prove an isolation safe, so route hazardous-fluid vents to the safe system named in the site procedure. FerruleX quotes stainless bleed valves with end connections, vent routing and pressure class named on the RFQ, paired with needle-valve blocks and the manifold line. Values are class-typical references for this configuration: 1/4 inch NPT ends and a 6000 psig class at 100 °F are typical. Ends, vent routing and pressure class are confirmed on the RFQ.
Close both blocks, open the bleed: trapped fluid vents to atmosphere or to a safe drain, and a continuing tell-tale flow at the bleed says the upstream seat is leaking. That is the verification step behind double-block-and-bleed instrument duty — the bleed is the witness, not the barrier. State on the RFQ: end connections, vent routing, pressure class, material grade. Pairs with needle-valve blocks and the 2-, 3- and 5-valve manifolds for the full isolation configuration.

How fast can this ship?
Stocked sizes usually leave 5–7 days after you confirm the quote. Make-to-order runs are about 15–25 days in production, then transit. Name the port if you want CIF.
Can I order a small trial or put my logo on it?
Yes. Trial quantities are quoted, and OEM marking or drawings are accepted. Payment is normally T/T with about 30% deposit, balance before shipment, or L/C at sight.
