Description
A gauge root valve is the primary isolation point at the pressure take-off, sitting between the process tap and the gauge or transmitter so the instrument can be shut off and serviced without disturbing the root connection. Multi-port versions add a test or bleed connection for verifying or venting the instrument. FerruleX quotes stainless gauge root valves with take-off and instrument connections, port arrangement and pressure class named on the RFQ. Values are class-typical references for this configuration: 1/2 inch NPT at the process take-off and a 6000 psig class at 100 °F are typical. Isolation belongs at the take-off, not at the gauge: a root valve shuts the instrument off at the source, and a multi-port body lets a test connection or bleed verify the gauge against a reference without loosening the root joint. Where the duty also needs a second barrier or a vent between barriers, pair it with a needle-valve block and an instrument bleed valve for double-block-and-bleed-class gauge duty. State on the RFQ: take-off connection, instrument connection, port arrangement, pressure class, material grade.

What should I send for a quote?
Size, material (SS304, SS316 or SS316L), quantity, end connection and destination. Add a sketch if the two ends are different.
How fast can this ship?
Stocked sizes usually leave 5–7 days after you confirm the quote. Make-to-order runs are about 15–25 days in production, then transit. Name the port if you want CIF.
Can I order a small trial or put my logo on it?
Yes. Trial quantities are quoted, and OEM marking or drawings are accepted. Payment is normally T/T with about 30% deposit, balance before shipment, or L/C at sight.
