Description
A dual-plate check valve closes the line with two spring-loaded half-discs pivoting on a central pin inside a wafer-style body that is compact and light between flanges. Spring assist shortens disc travel and can close faster than a conventional swing disc, reducing slam risk — treat non-slam as a design goal rather than a guarantee and confirm permitted orientation in the installation manual. FerruleX quotes stainless dual-plate checks per line size, flange standard, pressure class and material named on the RFQ. Values are class-typical references for this configuration: wafer pattern between flanges in ASME Class 150 / 300, stainless CF8 / CF8M discs with metal or resilient seats, and cataloged ranges commonly starting at 2 inch. Two half-discs fold back against the flow on a single pin, so the face-to-face stays short and the weight low — the reasons the type wins where a swing check would hang too long or heavy. The springs start closing the discs before flow reversal completes, which limits slam in the right system; actual closure behavior depends on valve design and line conditions, so critical services still check the datasheet. Orientation limits vary by model — read the installation manual rather than assuming. State on the RFQ: line size, flange standard, pressure class, material, orientation. How fast can this ship?
Stocked sizes usually leave 5–7 days after you confirm the quote. Make-to-order runs are about 15–25 days in production, then transit. Name the port if you want CIF.
Can I order a small trial or put my logo on it?
Yes. Trial quantities are quoted, and OEM marking or drawings are accepted. Payment is normally T/T with about 30% deposit, balance before shipment, or L/C at sight.
